2021 Jeep Wrangler 4XE - Now Available

The company has announced the release of a hybrid version, adding new economy and eco-friendly respectability to the traditional qualities of this unique SUV. What's New for 2021

The 4XE is based on the four-door Wrangler Unlimited and shares most of its features, but adds the new powertrain to make the first hybrid in the Wrangler lineup.

Classic Jeep Design

No one can confuse the Wrangler with any other SUV, and the 4XE stays true to the tried-and-tested design. Rugged lines and high ground clearance reflect the off-road roots of the model, while the profile is softened with curving lines and angles to produce a Jeep that looks just as at home in the city as on the trail.

Rugged Hybrid Performance

A hybrid may be excellent for fuel economy, but no Wrangler fan would want to sacrifice raw off-road power to achieve it. Thankfully, the 4XE is still a powerful performer thanks to its 2.0L gas engine and dual electric motors. The combined power output is an impressive 375 horsepower, and propels this Wrangler from 0-100km/h in less than six seconds. What's more, the huge 470lb-ft of torque means all the power is instantly on tap, pushing the 4XE over tough terrains with ease.

Advanced Infotainment

Infotainment duties are handled by either a 7" touchscreen display or an upgraded 8.4" model, with both options providing smartphone integration through Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Navigation is available as an optional extra, along with an off-road friendly front camera to increase visibility immediately in front of the hood.

Active Safety and Assist Systems

As well as being highly capable away from the pavement, the 4XE is fitted with the latest tech to make city and highway driving as safe as possible. Active systems include: - Forward collision warnings with automated braking in an emergency. - Blind spot monitoring. - Rear cross-traffic alerts.
